A 10-160 meter amplifier using the new Eimac metal ceramic 3CX1500D7 tube.
The Eimac 3CX1500D7 is an instant on metal ceramic triode that has 1500 watts of plate dissipation and 50 watt grid dissipation.
It is a workhorse tube. The amplifier is designed to work on all amateur bands from 10 through 160 meters. The amplifier
was published in the 2006 ARRL Handbook and received the cover photo. The amp took about 6 months to build and I shutter
to think how much it cost.
